I recently had the chance to stay at one of the sarova hotels that is Sarova Whitesands hotel in Mombasa. It was a holiday of a life time. As you can see from the picture it is a magnificent place. This is the the welcome lounge, we awaited to be allocated our rooms from here. We then settled for a family room since we had gone with our two children. The room was nice and with lots of space, it was over looking the sea front and one of the many swimming pools found at the hotel. The air conditioning was very smooth and did not cause us to get coughs at the end of our stay and the food was plenty and from various cultural back grounds. We spent the days sun bathing, swimming and eating. The even had a kids club with lots of creative stuff for the children. They were able to make beaded necklaces and bracelets, play mental games. The salon was for once reasonably priced and the tulia spa was incredible. I did not have a chance to visit the business center as i did not want to spoil my holiday mood. Finally there was a gym that is free for guests. I only discovered this the last day and missed out on that opportunity but next time i will know better. This is a must go when in Mombasa. Do not miss the opportunity.
