Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for its over 1.5 million flamingoes and over 500 other bird species. In addition to the rhino sanctuary. It is alos home to animals like the Rothschilds giraffe, bufflo, zebra, baboon and waterbuck.

Gazetted in 1968, the game park is  situate som 160 kilometers north - west of Nairobi, This water front park found at the heart of the great rift valley affords such a unique experience that it is worth a visit.

Two years ago the park was re-branded in a colourful ceremony as an orinthologists paradise. Following the improvements and the refurbishments carried out during and immediatly after branding, the park has recorded considerable gains in terms of visitation and revenue generation. In August the park added another feather to its hat- by installing a bevy of belles for it customer care team, to be deployed at all the gates. This was a response to requests by tourists and the general public and flair at the park entries.
